Check compatibility before paying
Ask which Fire TV generations are supported and whether the provider supplies a verified app-store listing, a downloader code or player settings. Do not install an APK unless you trust its source and understand the permissions it requests.
During a trial, use the remote to browse the guide, search, open favorites and return from playback. A service can stream well and still be frustrating to navigate.
